Mischa
Mischa came to us from a home where she could no longer be cared for properly; her person was pregnant and Mischa had become a responsibility she could no longer hold on to. Little did she know that the cat she was giving up was pregnant as well. Mischa’s initial exam proved what we expected. About a month later, Mischa gave birth to a litter of six. Most births go just fine but Mischa had trouble, the umbilical cord had wrapped around several of the kittens - they survived birth but two kittens suffered tremendous damage to one leg. Ultimately the deformed leg needed to be removed. |
