Georgette & Puppies

This beautiful terrier mix was rescued with her 9 puppies from Georgia as part of our out of state rescue program. As you can see in these startling photos of aptly named Georgette, she was severely emaciated when she came to us. Her nine puppies were nursing from her, taking what little she had to give. Georgette knew that each and every one of these little innocent babies had to have enough milk to keep growing big and strong. She was a good mommy because they all survived and are now being cared for by the wonderful staff of our Foster Care ward. All nine of these little guys and girls are suffering from upper respiratory infections, which requires antibiotics. Despite this, their spirits are still high – they can be seen romping around their run, playing with one another and chewing on each other’s collars. Caring for all of these sick puppies with food and medicine as you can imagine, is rather costly. By supporting our HELP program you will be enabling us to provide for these innocent pups and others just like them.
